The Exploring Kink Series is a range of workshops designed to invite you to (deepen your) play with kink and BDSM aspects. Exploring Kink is a way to add spice, depth, and presence to all your relationships. In these workshops, we combine principles of consent and (neo-)tantra with the magical realms of kink.

The Exploring Kink series consists of these workshops that can be taken as a series or stand-alone workshops:
– ‘Foundations’. Beginner-friendly with a focus on the basics of power dynamics, basics of impact play, and setting up a scene.
– ‘Deepening D/s Dynamics’. Diving into the nuances of power play and the different qualities of those. Relatively beginner-friendly, but some experience (like Foundations) is recommended.
– ‘Edges’. Bringing forms of edgy play like breathplay and consensual non-consent into your play. Not for beginners (at least one of these three recommended: Foundations, Deepening D/s dynamics, or Kinky Tantra).
– ‘Therapeutic Kink’: using BDSM and kink for healing and transformative processes. Not for beginners (at least one of these three recommended: Foundations, Deepening D/s dynamics, or Kinky Tantra).

** EXPLORING KINK: EDGES**

(This workshop was formerly known as Exploring Kink: Step 2)

Edges is a workshop that follows up on where Foundations took you. Edges includes opportunities to:

– learn and experience (or observe) different forms of breath play.
– playing with consensual non-consent. It can be so much fun as well as incredibly healing to play on this edge.
– different constellations of play: in twos, but also in threes and possibly other group sizes.
– besides this, we will use the tools from Foundations and combine them with new tools for more dimensions in your play.
– Lots of time to practice scenes
– get to know amazing like-minded people in the best way!

WHAT THE EVENT LOOKS LIKE:

As this is not a beginner workshop, the days may go fast if you are not that experienced. We will support you to regulate, take it slow in between, and pause whenever needed.

Rough overview of the program:

On the first day, after a welcome and introductions, we start playing with tuning into your body as an Inner Navigation System. Always get to know where the breaks are before we speed up! We will play with the polarities of Domination and surrender, leading and following, adding new dynamics and flavours to what you learned in Foundations as well as impact play. In the second part of the day, we will work with consensual non-consent. Within the container of desires and boundaries, we play with what it’s like to really go to an edge, e.g. through play fighting, overpowering the other, verbal humiliation, or whatever fits your kink!

On the second day, we will take time sharing about our experiences and learning from each other. Then we will bring in some new elements into your play, working with different senses and different techniques for breathplay. We will play in different constellations, and end the day is designed as a Play Party where you can practice with amazing people, supported by Wilrieke and their amazing team. If you want to practice specific things, ask questions (we love to geek out!), have us look over your shoulder, or dance and integrate – there’s space for it all!

As in all of our workshops, you are encouraged to sit out of anything. Witnessing is valid participation. If you come with a partner, you are welcome to stay together for the whole workshop, or play with others too.

This is a RED event, which means that during some parts of the event, full nudity and sexual play are possible (this will mainly be during the play party), although sexuality is not the focus of this event. It is mainly allowed when it would support the healing and growth in a scene. At no point during this weekend are you required or pushed to be naked or sexual. You can participate in the full weekend while being dressed and without touching anyone. We do ask you to be comfortable with nudity and sexuality in the room.

FOR WHO IS THIS EVENT?

❗For this workshop, we recommend at least some experience with kink and Wilrieke’s way of teaching, e.g. through Exploring Kink: Foundations, Edges, and/or Kinky Tantra.

All our workshops are queer-centered and straight-friendly. That means, to us, that our workshops embrace diversity beyond the traditional cisgender, straight, slender, able, neurotypical, or young body.

This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team and life experiences are coloured through that lens. We do come from different social backgrounds and have different life experiences when it comes to health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

We welcome folks with disabilities. We can adapt exercises so that they fit you. Where we can we will support you. If you have a person/animal that supports you in daily activities that you need to bring for your care, they can of course come with you without buying a ticket. Please reach out if you have special needs, and we will discuss how we can support you. In case we cannot comfort your needs, we will honestly let you know.

You can come alone (many people do), with your partner/s or friend/s. If you come with a partner you are welcome to stay together for the whole workshop, or play with others too.
