Did you ever play hard to get?

We have all grown up amidst pop sings and fairy tales that are all about love. But the things is, many of them are not about healthy love, but codependency and toxic relationships. Let’s debunk some of them!

Today: ‘Fire’, written by Bruce Springsteen and gotten popular in the version of The Pointer Sisters. This song is touching one of the potentially most painful themes in popular culture: when someone says ‘no’, it means we need to push harder to get a ‘yes’. But the idea of ‘hard to get’ is undermining healthy boundary setting.
