What is the meaning of life? Why are we on earth, why do we exist? Are we here to suffer? Watching television, reading the newspapers or glossy magazines, it seems that, indeed, we are here to get hurt. To feel pain. We read about war, about homicide. We watch programs where there might be one winner at the cost of many losers. We feel ourselves less miserable because there are so many others more miserable than we are. Everything is a choice. Can I blame the rain?

Sunday morning. The kids are still sleeping. Boyfriend is reading a book. No appointments yet. The perfect moment to go outside for a long ride with my horse. But… it’s raining. I could stay at home, get a little grumpy. Get nervous because my plans for the day get mixed up. Direct my bad mood at my boyfriend and daughters, making them feel bad too.
