On Loving and Feeling Loved

On loving and feeling loved

My love isn’t something to take from you. It’s nothing I want from you. I don’t need your love to confirm my existence. I’d rather say: “I feel love between us”, for I can only feel love resonating when we both unveil it. When we allow ourselves to not keep our love away from each other, but to ler it flow. Where my love meets your love the love multiplies into a glowing ball of energy enlightening you and I and all that surrounds us. More than “I feel love between us”, I prefer not to speak, and just observe the vibrating love with all my senses. Words are only needed when I’m not sure. Love isn’t something to be…

On Feeling Alone

The dark symbolizes loneliness. The bottom of the well where you lie, curled up, with nobody around or aware of your presence. Nobody to recognize your existence. Nobody to confirm to you that you take a place in this world. This is confusion. To know the light, you have to embrace the dark. You have to recognize the dark for what it is. It is not a place of despair, sadness and cruelty caused by others upon you. It never is. Your darkness is your teacher. Loneliness is nothing but the key to what you no longer need, the bottom of the well is the passage to freedom – to heaven. What can you do when you feel like you…

Ayahuasca

Are you familiar with the fascinating realm of synchronicities? Synchronicities are occurrences that are so much aligned with your path that they simply do not feel like pure coincidences. I like to believe that synchronicities show me the direction of my purpose. My heart-centered path of immense growth and happiness. Since I focus on my growth processes, my life appears to have central themes. Often this is a fear or insecurity that feels stuck in my being. This can be a childhood trauma, an accident or a limiting belief. When learning to appreciate my body was a theme, I was invited to come to intuitive dancing in contact with other people. I met people who told me out of the…

Review: Mystic Life – Spiritual Polyamory

Spiritual Polyamory by Mystic Life is a self-called “powerful, groundbreaking work, certain to challenge and stimulate members of both the “poly-curious” and polyamorous communities. Mystic Life takes you on a journey into honesty, awareness and self-exploration. You will be encouraged to explore your true beliefs about love, jealousy, sex and letting go of control.” Love of all The book starts with clearing up the differences between ‘ego’ and your true self. We are already whole. The ego is a “collection of beliefs arising from fear and the illusion of separation”. What Mystic Life means, is that we judge others’ behavior (which stems from ego) for it makes us feel better to place our own ego above another person. I believe…

Be your own guru

We all need some guidance in our lives. Especially in times where many things change, it is nice to have a beacon ahead. We may find people in our surroundings or way out of reach to serve as an example. To be our personal guru. What are we looking for? In times of growth we switch from one equilibrium to a new equilibrium.  Between these stable states there is a whole landscape of chaos. We feel insecure and out of balance. We try to get hold of something stable. Someone who seems unbreakable. A superhero. What is a guru? But do superheroes exist? All the people I know face their own challenges. Even the people we value most. They also…

Love the child in you

Sometimes I feel hurt or frightened in a situation, and I’m not so certain why. There are many emotions flowing through me like a storm, catching me by surprise and leaving me breathless. What happened? Why did this situation touch me as intensely as it did? It feels like the response in my body is in no way corresponding to the intensity of the situation. It feels like the person I am now isn’t the one reacting, but some hidden, core emotion that was stored behind huge walls of defense and ignorance. What happened? Feeling small There is a part of us that never grows up. The inner child in us makes us playful, lighthearted and carefree. But a child…
